WOW! The first Murkage of the new year was something special. As you can all see our new home is going to be big, even in it's present state it provided all of the ravers a unique opportunity to engrave their names on a piece of Manchester history. Trust us when we say expect GREAT THINGS from SOUTH in the coming months!

Right, lets move on to this coming week's Murkage which is our 3RD BIRTHDAY!!!! To celebrate we have booked a very special someone, who has for the last few years been smashing the DnB and Crossover dubstep world... of course we're talking about the Bristolian legend TC!

The 30th September does not just mark a special birthday for Murkage, but it also marks a birthday for one Stu Johnson! Who is Stu Johnson you ask? Well look out for our special one off flyers and come down to Murkage and find out... 

TC

At 16 years old TC dropped out of school, bought a sampler and an Atari ST and started making beats, he is now touring the world as a highly respected DJ, producer and vocalist.

Since he released his début album 'Evolution' in 2007 he's won 'Breakthrough Producer' and 'Producer Of The Year' at the 1xtra Drum and Bass Awards and topped both BBC Radio 1's 'National Dance Chart' and BBC 1Xtra's 'Drum and Bass Chart'. The album was named Zane Low's 'Record of the Week' and extensively played by Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Jo Whiley, Mary Ann Hobbs, Fabio and Grooverider. Aside from the BBC it was also widely played by Hype on Kiss 100 and Eddie Temple Morice on XFM. Hits from the album include Deep, Rockstar, Jump, Borrowed Time (F.t. Subfocus) and Where's My Money, which went on to be remixed by Caspa and become an early dubstep anthem.

TC has massive support of his dub plates from DJs such as: Pendulum, Chase & Status, Subfocus, Andy C, Friction, Swift, Blackmarket, Skream, Benga, Joker, N-type, Hatcha, Rusko, Diplo, Shy FX, Blame, and many, many more. When not producing for himself TC keeps busy by remixing tracks by Rihanna, Damian Marley, NAS and Tinie Tempah.

More than just a producer TC tours in the UK, Europe and America as both a feature DJ and as a Vocalist with his live band, with which he recently recorded at the BBC's legendary Maida Vale Studios for the BBC Radio 1 Drum and Bass Show. TC has also appeared as a guest vocalist on Pendulum's 'Hold Your Colour' album and on the new Subfocus track 'Follow The Light'.
