After such a good year in 2011 with guests including Tiefschwarz, Slam, Craig Richards, M.A.N.D.Y, Dinky, Hector, Adam Shelton, Jay Tripwire, Julietta, Tristan Da Cunah, Matt Tolfrey, Midland, Subb-an, Richy Ahmed, Robert James and Seelie, we return to the Sound Control basement for our first party of 2012, with one of our most exciting guests to date..
****CASSY (Panorama Bar / Cocoon / Perlon)****
After watching her play one of the stand out sets at last years Hideout festival, we immediately put the wheels in motion to book Cassy for Zutekh. In 2011, along with her recurring presence at Circoloco and Berlins infamous Panorama bar (where she has resided since 2003,) Cassy earned additional residencies at Rex in Paris, Trouw in Amsterdam and rocked some of the worlds best parties earning herself a place on the list of most in demand DJs on the planet. Production wise, her diverse body of work has seen collaborations with Steve Bug, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Mathew Jonson and Swayzak on highly regarded labels such as Playhouse, Perlon, Ostgut Ton and Cocoon. To top things off she runs her own self-titled label as an outlet for her unique sound and provides vocals for many of the tracks. All in all Its pretty safe to say that Cassy is truly a special talent.
****ADAM SHELTON (One Records/ Below/ Zutekh)****
After a brief stint in Berlin, Adam is back to continue his residency at Zutekh. 2011 has seen his One Records brand go from strength to strength with strong releases from the likes of Jef K, Chris Carrier and John Dimas all doing the business. His constant focus on quality underground house music and impeccable skills behind the decks have earned him sets at some of the best clubs and parties in the world, including Panorama Bar (Berlin), Harry Klein (Munich), Garden Festival (Croatia), Fabric (London), The Rex Club (Paris), Cocoon in the Park (Leeds) and Electric Pickle (Miami WMC).
