Lowdown & Dirty with Scratch Perverts tickets and listings

For Lowdown's 2nd birthday we have the hugely talented Scratch Perverts upstairs in the loft showcasing their DJ skills, backed up by Resistance and Ash Howell. Legendary club Tangled will be hosting the basement and middle floor with Terry Pointon and others playing Tangled classics, and in the bar Tangled Breaks will be hosting with Steve Thorpe and guests.

To celebrate their 2nd birthday L&D have the amazing Scratch Perverts performing.

DJ Primecuts, Tony Vegas and Plus One are the Scratch Perverts - a name that has become synonymous with HipHop and battle DJing ever since their formation in 1996.
Their multi-deck wizardry and scratching skills are renowned all over the world.

Their reputation as one of the worlds most progressive DJ collectives is unparalleled. What better way for Lowdown & Dirty to celebrate their birthday by having some of the best DJ's in the world behind the decks.

Support comes from the excellent L&D resisdents - Resistance & Ash Howell, rocking the party with their techno, electro, tech-funk infused breakbeats and basslines.

Steve Thorpe will be playing his trademark Tangled Breaks sound. Mixing up classic breaks from the infamous Phoenix days together with future rhythms of the breakbeat scene.

Steve will be joined by Manchesters finest female breaks DJ - Miss Tickle playing an old skool breakbeat set, Matt Howson dropping classic breakbeat from the last 10 years and Key Lo & Sicknote bringing their slamming tech-funk acid vibes to the party!

Basement - Tangled - Phoenix Classics - House/Trance/Techno/Classics

To celebrate the launch of the fantastic Tangled Book (OUT NOW!), DJs Terry Pointon, Rascal & Snoopy will be taking control over the lowdown and dirty, warehouse themed basement.
To make this occasion extra special for all the Tangled followers the DJs will be spinning tunes that rocked the legendary Phoenix club from 1997 - 2006. House, trance and techno classics all night long! Reach for the lasers!

This event is what is known as a no-nonsense, straight to the point, fucking - RAVE!
