The farm opens its gates for the heavyweight harvesters that take the form of Layo & Bushwacka. Layo Paskin & Matthew B are truly the dons of stadium techno in the UK. Their rise, domination and continuation to command respect seems to have come effortless for the pair. Forming a partnership in the mid-nineties through the ashes of The Shamen, they became the cornerstone of Mr C's seminal club The End. Their partnership grew from strength to strength as they released a bunch of seminal productions including the massive Love Story, which today stands as an all-time club anthem.
We can be sure that this techno tag team will milk every last bit of energy they can from the farm faithful. Taking us for a free range look at club culture is Funkineven, with his fractured boogie beats. Some say it's jazz fusion and organised confusion. We say it's like looking at the 80s through a smashed mirror. Whether hes elegantly micro-sampling soul records into a techno tapestry, or forging Chicago 303s into his own mutant assault, hes sure to give us a show.
In a unique twist to the regular barnyard banter we're taking the novel approach of creating a time capsule that will be buried somewhere in Manchester to show the future generations how we used to behave when we're all one foot in the rave. Every bump, blip, beat & bassline thrown down will be recorded alongside interviews from the DJs, farmers & all the people that make Manchester one of the best party cities on the planet. However you won't have to weather the sands of time to enjoy what we compile. We'll be putting the fruits online for you to enjoy. But, if you really want your place in history then you'll have to come down & pick your spot on the farm floor.

About Audio Farm
Audio Farm. A name synonymous with anarchic fun, mischief & mayhem hatched in a dirty Withington
basement some 3 years ago. South Manchester provided fertile growing conditions for the farm as slowly &
surely it grew into a thriving organism, covering the many sprawling fields of the bountiful sonic landscape.
The farms guests have been mediums to our growth with the likes of Greg Wilson, 808 State & A Guy Called
Gerald providing locally sourced artistry with global renowned respect. Around the U.K we have brought in
some of the finest beat smiths in Ewan Pearson, Tim Green, Terry Francis, Evil Nine & Hybrid. From Europe
brought Shonky & 2562 & from across the pond the greatest names & pioneers in the forms of Derrick Carter,
Derrick May & Kevin Saunderson
Today Audiofarm stands alone as a bastion of festival like fun brought to the venues of Manchester and
now taking residency at the Mancunian music mecca, Sound Control. This season expect more from the
farmers as we plough deep to bring you more innovative guests including Layo & Bushwacka, Deetron, Luke
Vibert & Dorian Concept, plus more decoration & the very best in visual production.
Along with the decor & visuals we have remixed our music policy with the top floor dropping the 909 kicks,
snares, hats & hooks in the finest house & techno. The middle floor will provide a happy haven, playing lost
classics & buried treasures alongside favourites in soul, hip hop, funk & disco. The basement plays host to the
more experimental electronic beats. Syncopated, dubber sounds to refresh, challenge & invigorate the
cerebral crowds.
All this plus a whole host of extra weird and wonderful surprises to the senses to give you everything you'd
expect from our unique clubbing experience. So dont be a sheep & follow the rest to the generic, find
something esoteric. The farm's gates are open & all are welcome.
