This month Manchester is set for Techno heaven as we welcome some of the hottest talent on the scene in recent years. On the run up to Ibiza Back 2 Basics residents Panorama & Riff Raff join forces with The Zoo Project @ the famous Tribal Sessions @ Sankeys (Manchester).

The 22nd February will feature the crème de la crème of Techno including Smokin Jo, Defex, Will Saul & Greg Vickers for an amazing Ibiza techno special.

Smoking Jo need no introduction and is somewhat of an Ibiza legend and we at The Zoo Project are proud to be bringing her on board for this special occasion. Her cutting edge style and impeccable taste in music has made sure that Jo is always classed amongst the top name DJs. She is also the only female DJ to have won DJ Magazine's prestigious DJ of the Year award. Smokin Jo's talent behind the decks and fearless risk taking in her mixing has made sure her DJing CV contains most major clubs throughout the world. She is now one of the residents for We Love.. Sundays at Space at Space, Ibiza. Jo has played most styles of music over the years from Soulful Deep House through to Tribal, but it's Deep Dirty House, Minimal and Techno that now race through her sets. Her shows never fail to impress, containing new and exciting material at every turn.

Will Saul is the producer and DJ behind Simple Records and Aus Music. His sound is based in deep, driving house and techno with flashes of soul and irresistible melody that hark back to the early days of Detroit. Over the last few years Will has gained an admirable reputation as not only a show-stealing DJ, but also a talented A&R and producer. He is resident at The End in London and Weekend in Berlin, and most recently has remixed for Freerange, Initial Cuts, Fresh Meat and Phonique’s summer anthem ‘Bang’ on Dessous.

The secret pre party will be starting at 19:30 from Bar Ca, Catalan Square, Castelfield, in Manchester 

The special guest DJs from Sankeys will be warming things up with an underground secret V.I.P boat party finishing at 23:00 then a free bus and cue jump straight into Sankeys.
