It actually had nothing to do with the music but more to do with a lot of selfish idiots in the crowd that ruined that night for me. Don't get me wrong, i think the majority of people are fantastic! I'm the wheelchair user that was there last night and also on the 14th when A&B played. I've met some really lovely people but unfortunately there were a few too many rude people there for me last night. The first thing which annoyed me was that the DJ who played on set before Armin seemed to think he was above the smoking ban and couldn't even hang on to the end of his set before having a fag. Now this isn't a problem to many people but unfortunately for someone with lung problems such as myself means that i can't enjoy myself because i start to feel ill. I could never go out before the smoking ban and it upsets me when people seem to think it's ok to light up despite the ban. I'm not against anyone smoking, i would just appreciate it if they could hold on until the end of their sets or go outside like they are supposed to so that people like me can enjoy going out without being ill. Secondly, i had someone who couldn't control their drink that fell on top of me and hurt me. Luckily someone behind me caught me to stop my wheelchair crashing to the floor. Then there were a number of drinks that were spilt all over me, being being generally over rowdy and literally trying to climb on top of me and push me out of the way. I had an amazing night on the 14th when A&B played and i expected something of the same last night but unfortunately due to many bad mannered people, me and my friend ended up leaving early and we only managed to hear 40 minutes of Armin's set. The finally straw came when someone kicked my friend in the back of her leg to try to make her move out of the way. So, what i heard i did enjoy but i am very saddened by the bad attitudes of the minority. Sounds like i missed a great set. There is no reason why disabled people can't go clubbing and experience the same as everyone else. What stops disabled people joining in is often the self centered and reckless actions of others. And i am very, very upset that my night was cut short.

Blurred Wannabe Offline Points:22 Posts: 1	AVB Overall rating: 5 Loved it, it was so great to hear tracks like 'on a good day' and 'faces' by mr wallbridge, I had to leave my cig to go and dance to that tune. Only problem is overcrowding, seriously. I've been in dubstep skank out raves before, but this was way too packed, no room to dance! It felt like I had 4 people grinding on me (not in the good way)(wha!?) the club needs to watch the capacity.. But it was AVB... PLUR.

The only down side to the night, was the sorry state I found myself in afterwards! lol! Ah never mind hey, these things need to be done! :)
