Colour, Manchester's premier Techno night, kicks off the season with a special gig at Sankeys that brings together one of the biggest line-ups we've ever had the pleasure to present.

Taking charge of the whole of Sankeys after the success of the Mills gig at Spektrum, we are proud to present:


CHRIS LIEBING

A true techno icon, Chris Liebing's career is one that spans over a decade of unique achievement.
He and his various productions remain at the forefront of polls and line-ups across the globe: award winning radio shows, various labels, and international residencies that all represent his unique talent.
Check out recordings of his Spinclub residencies at Space: a perfect example of what he is all about at the moment; intense and funky, high-octane and growling, organic yet rooted in technical innovation.

We could not have asked for a better person to break us into the Sankeys main room. For those in the know, this one is going to be something truly special.

SURGEON

We then started to think long and hard about an artist that could step in and send this gig into the stratosphere.
That's why when it came to us, we couldn't believe that we had to think about it at all.
When Surgeon came and played for us at our Tresor party in April, his performance became an immediate highlight; technical, forward thinking, and pounding right from the off.
Now we're asked him back to show us again exactly what he can do: the perfect accompaniment to the evening, and the perfect counter to Liebing.
Techno's leading light returns for one more show, and to give the Sankeys dance floor a workout it truly deserves.

Bas Mooy will be headlining Spektrum. Bas is one of the most cutting edge techno producers on the planet His live performances are totaly mind blowing. Fuse that with Spektrums Funktion One sound system and futuristic over head L.E.D. lighting wall, and we have a unmissible show!
