fusion of music in turkish, english, and kurdish. Paula Darwish was
born in England to arabic parents and started the band in Manchester
6 years ago. Her voice is both memorable and unique and she is a
skilled lyricist in the english language.The Country and Eastern Band
fuses the spirit of rock with eastern rhythms and melodies and
together they present an eclectic selection of songs, bringing 400
hundred year old Anatolian Folk songs bang up to date with
imaginative and inspired reworkings. Somehow it all fits together
and when they effortlessly slip in a Nashville country ballad you
won't even notice the difference. This special semi acoustic set
will focus more on the quieter, chilled out side of their music and
some of their lesser known songs. Tonight's band line-up includes
