US band Silver Apples are one of those bands that has a history.

Credited as being one of the first to use electronic synths (late 1960s) before Krautrock was even thought of they invented their own oscillating synthesiser to produce their own unique progressive electronic experemental sound. They got themselves signed, broke up and lost track of each other for a few years but got back together when when a German record label found there was renewed interest in their music.

The Band toured again in the 90s but a bad road traffic accident put them out of action again. In 2005 the drummer died but not before he put all his material on taope for the band to make use of in the future.

Rare live solo performances from Simeon Cox III, a US tour in 2007 followed by an invite by the 2007 ATP curators.

So, yes, this band has a history.
