Funkademia 14th Birthday with Norman Jay tickets and listings

This November Manchester’s longest running club night Funkademia celebrates its 14^th birthday and to mark the occasion we’re getting on the decks the UK’s premier black music dj – Norman Jay MBE.

We’re not normally renowned for getting on guest dj’s at Funkademia but we thought we’d push the boat out to celebrate our hugely successful move to the Northern Quarters Mint Lounge. Norman will be gracing the main room decks for a Good Times party set through until close and we’re certain he will add his own sense of soulful style to Funkademia.

In the Northern Funk room our very own Good for the Soul boys will be playing one of their infamous ‘anything goes’ sets. Fresh from summer festival duties across the UK, including the Wickerman festival, expect to hear anything from funk to ska and from house to reggae…
