Matt and Phred's Jazz Club Presents: The Tombo Trio

The Taz Modi Trio, the little brother of the Wazoo, are currently making a big name for themselves due to their high intensity jazz samba. Influenced by the classic 60's Brazilian piano trios like Milton Banana, Tamba Trio and Som Tres, but constantly forward-thinking at the same time, they put a thoroughly modern spin on the traditional Brazilian songbook to create their own kind of Brazilian jazz.
Doors from 5pm, £5 entry from 8.30-midnight. £3 after midnight, DJ 'till 3am. Free Pizza Deal.
