Matt and Phred's Presents: The Neil Yates Quintet
Neil Yates' ear for a good Jazz tune has been rewarded with accolade after accolade and he can now be confidently described as one of the leading Jazz trumpet players in the UK. A regular performer at Matt and Phred's Neil is also a prolific performer having played with the BBC Big Band Jazz group, reggae band Edward II and even the Brand New Heavies.
The Neil Yates Quartet itself will also be performing at the Manchester Jazz Festival, and Neil has been asked to write and perform a brand new suite commissioned by the festival. Perhaps we'll be lucky enough to hear a few flavours from this hotly anticipated piece of music in Matt and Phred's!!
Doors open at 4pm, Free entry 4pm-8.30pm. £5 8.30 - Midnight. £3 after midnight. Resident DJ untill late! Free Pizza Deal!! Book Early to avoid disapointment.
