Lineup and details for Now Wave: Caribou & Battles on Saturday 4th June 2011
Caribou and Battles headline a fantastic line up of some of the most exciting and diverse artists around today. Caribous Swim was one of the outstanding albums of last year, an assured collection of tracks that took in minimal techno, uplifting disco and gentle, layered harmonies. Always a thrilling live act, their performance at the Warehouse Project last year was a highlight of the series.
Battles hugely anticipated new album Gloss Drop is released on the day of the event, and their live performance promises to be a fitting celebration. Known for their virtuoso improvisation and innovative use of cutting edge effects and loop pedals, few can match the visceral intensity of Battles live.
