Lineup and Details for HomoElectric Easter Special on Fri 2nd April 2010
Roll up...Roll up...HomoElectric is back for an Easter Bank Holiday Soundclash, a special occasion for all sexual persuasions. Inviting and uniting the tribes, the disparate and the disenfranchised down to our dark basement for a night of love, sweat & music. Step right up all disco dandies, bears who like to boogie, fashionable femmes and two stepping straight boys.
A night to see rather than to be seen at...there shall be no tan-o-rexic tarts or botox needled beasties, no celebrity siting or ego biting, no fakers, mugs or thugs permitted...just dancing & prancing & sweet romancing. Boozing, not cruising, is de rigueur. Ket is for horses (& so is barebacking). Rave safe. Meow for now. x
For your aural pleasures we welcome:
WILL TRAMP Vs MICRON Vs JUPITER ROOMS
Resident Will Tramp squares up to the DJs from two of Manchester's finest smaller club nights who bare rave reviews in DJ & Mixmag. The Micron & Jupiter Rooms crew serve up music made for the modern electronic discotheque. Deep Jackin House, Electro, Techno.
JAMIE BULL Vs LUCY LOCKET
Joining Jamie is his old pal Lucy, known affectionately to her friends as the Disco Librarian. Like our Jamie, Lucy is also a former Speed Queen resident and part of the Magnificent Dance trio from Cord. Expect music with soul & disco deviance of the highest order.
Jo Good (BBC 6 Music) + More TBC
Playing anything from rock'n'roll suicide to trailer trash pop & all things outsider & wonky.
Tickets available from Clone Zone & Piccadilly Records
