Lineup and details for HomoElectric August Bank Holiday Showdown on Saturday 27th August 2011
Gunslinging in our bank holiday showdown, a reunion of the mancunians in the form of Guy Williams and Dave Kendrick as three club nights become one for a night of lewd conduct.
HOMOELECTRIC meets MACHO CITY meets PARADISE 45.
For one night only we create a team who have laid their DJ foundations at Flesh, Vague, Speedqueen and DTPM. Dear HomoElectricians, you're in safe hands.
ROOM 1 (DISCO)
JAMIE BULL & DAVE KENDRICK
Macho City is a weekly party of homosexual insanity every Thursday at the Joiners Arms in London. Founded on a bedrock of hi-NRG and disco, each week it champions the often forgotten but always amazing music that makes being a gay such a ball. The men behind Macho City are Dan Beaumont of Disco Bloodbath fame, Dave Kendrick from the hallowed halls of The Hacienda, and Charlie Porter, who otherwise writes stuff.

ROOM 2 (ELECTRONIC)
WILL TRAMP! & GUY WILLIAMS
Paradise 45 is the event and production moniker for Guy Williams (Black Rabbit / We Love) and Thomas Gandey (Cagedbaby). Paradise 45 takes its ethos from the heady days of the Paradise Garage and Studio 54 in New York USA via the Hacienda and Paradise Factory. Expect Nu disco, Italo, Classic US House, Tech and Deep House. Guy has remixed the likes of Roisin Murphy and Grace Jones, and also runs the highly successful Black Rabbit parties with Justin Roberston.

ROOM 3 (ALTERNATIVE)
TRASH-O-RAMA & ZSA ZSA NOIR
Joining Trash-O-Rama in the Piano Bar we welcome some subversive avant guard gender bending in the form of Zsa Zsa Noir. Zsa Zsa is "your filth trannylecktro spacepig with a rocket in her pocket". Don't say we didn't warn you.

ROOM 4
CINEMA SALOON
We will be re-opening our cinema saloon in the Mineshaft in the very basement of the club, showing weird & saucy b-movies, but most importantly there is a bar for you to get drinks at when the rest of the club is busy, as well as extra toilets. Remember the Mineshaft is linked to the main room by a staircase through the door next to the cloakroom. Welcome to the gay maze.
