KARTING2000 MANCHESTERS PREMIER INDOOR GO-KARTING ARENA
RACE FORMATS AND INFORMATION
GRAND PRIX
3-5 practise laps
5 lap heats per driver
Top 10-12 drivers qualify only. B final position 6-10, A-final position 1-5
The top drivers take part in a 12 lap A, final
The final presentation will take place on the podium.
ENDURANCE RACE EVENT
5 practise laps
Each driver is guaranteed 30 minutes on the track
Teams race against the clock competing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
A team leader selected by each group can tactically structure the order of drivers if desired. If you wish to choose your team leaders please notify us in advance, otherwise the race director will do this for you.
Drivers will be called via number boards approximately every ten to fifteen minutes.
The winning team is the one that accumulates the most laps.
The final presentation will take place on the podium.
OPEN GRAND PRIX'S (SATURDAY'S ONLY)
As per the above grand prix except you only need a minimum 6 drivers instead of the usual 12 drivers to book as we merge groups together (favoured by stag and hen parties)
GRAND PRIX AND ENDURANCE
Must be 12 drivers or more, both events have a 15min pre race safety briefing.
Drivers must be over 16yrs to take part in either of the two events.
The price for each of the above events is £35.00 per driver
KIDZ KARTING PARTIES
Children must be between the ages 9yrs – 12yrs for a party of up to 10 children for 1,hour's karting including a 10min safety briefing and food afterwards in our pit-stop café, All this for £185.00.
TRACK TIME SESSIONS
For up to 10 drivers between the ages 12yrs to 16yrs for 1,hours karting including a 10 min safety briefing for £280.00 per hour.
