I booked tickets for myself and two friends - we arrived at the venue. We walked downstairs at Joshua Brooks and it stunk of sweat - the ceiling was dripping - it was heaving. We all went upstairs so we could get a drink. It was also roasting hot no doors or windows open and no airconditioning. What was the entry money for?? We all left - terrible venue. Shame. Please give us our money back!

Four of us attended the 17th Birthday Bash at Joshua Brooks, it was ABSOLUTELY BOILING! there was no air conditioning in any part of the club making it rather difficult to bear. One of our group left and went home as he couldnt tand the heat! Usually the balcony upstairs is open allowing air to get in to the club to cool us all down somewhat but it wasnt open on Saturday! However, the music was great and there were loads of cool people there and the drinks were soooo cheap! I had an all rounds Aaesome night but could have done with some cool air in the place.

jayray32 Pro Offline Points:168 Posts: 12 : 4	do they believe i air conditioning Overall rating: 3 well it was my first time to a tangled event and honestly it could have been better.the music was quality but the venue was terrible.it was just too warm,no air con and there was too many people for such a small venue.hopefully if and when they do another tangled event i will be goin again as long as they defo dnt have it there.the oni gud thing about the venue,well there was two,the beer prices and the exit door.

Overall rating: 4.5 i agree with the comments about the heat, it was very hot with no air con, but otherwise a great night with loads of friendly folk, great atmosphere, top music and cheap drinks...i dont mind getting sweaty in a club...great night!

Hagbard Wannabe Offline Points:30 Posts: 1	Wicked music let down by a crap venue and sound system Overall rating: 3.5 I've been a fan of Tangled ever since I've lived in Manchester - it's my all time favourite club! Sadly last minute venue spoilt what promised to be a fantastic 17th birthday party - the venue was way to small for 500 people the downstairs sounds system was crap, you could hardly hear the music and anyway it was so crowded down there and so not it wasn't worth bothering! Up stairs the music was the best I've ever heard at Tangled, it's just a shame that the longest you could dance was about 20mins before the excessive heat got to you and you had to go out side to cool down, plus the dance floor up stairs was so slippery it was positively dangerous. I know that the Tangled guys pulled out all the stops to find a last minute venue, but this was a dissapointing night! Sadly my first time friends left before midnight and we left at 2am as we were so drenched! Let's hope the next Tangled is back to a decent venue with a decent sounds system and please can we have some more of the fantastic break beats played upstairs - truly awsume! As always the Tangled crowd are second to none on the friendly stakes! Keep dancing!

The Tangles crowd are amazing - there were loads of faces from when Tangled used to be (ah, those were the days!)- they're about the friendliest you'll ever find. The music upstairs at Tangled Breaks was amazing. Anyone complaining about the music downstairs should have been upstairs! The venue, I agree, was not the best - I went downstairs for a bit and it was way too rammmedm, too hot and the walkway was through the dancefloor. Upstairs, it really was like a sauna but I got used to it after a while and had the best night! The only good thing about the venue was that the drink prices were cheap, so I'm told xx
