Micron Classics with 2000 and One - Final Parties tickets and listings

Our final closing parties continue as per protocol every second Friday at Joshua Brooks, Manchester followed by one last Micron on NYE. So its business as usual as we put to rest a party which will we think be fondly remembered by many and for rather a long time.

When we play our final tune in the early hours of next year, we will finish an incredible five (and a bit) year adventure. From our first, jam packed night at Joshua Brooks in November 2006, we caught an instant vibe. After hitting every party and festival in Manchester we built residencies in London and Moscow, via DJ Mag awards ceremonies and visits to remote Russian festivals, Indian Beaches, Exit Festival and bonkers Dutch boat parties.

Some rules were agreed at Microns inception. Excellent music, naturally. But FUN seemed to be missing in Manchester at the time. All a bit serious. Loads of chin strokers. So we ripped the piss out of ourselves and that seemed to work. Luckily, people seemed to like that and we were immediately and consistently blessed with our very own wonderful, loyal, sexy, fun crowd. We owe them everything and we love them all.



2000 and One:

Dylan Hermelijn aka 2000 and One has been producing music and DJing for more than two decades and is now ranked as one the most versatile, in-demand international artists, commanding weekly performances on the house and techno global club and festival circuits. Lauded as the instigator and champion of the new sound of Amsterdam, Dylan's involvement with six of the citys finest electronic labels - 100% Pure, Remote Area, AreaRemote, Intacto (with Shinedoe), Bitten and Bangbang! (with Sandy Hüner) has offered a platform for the new generation of producers to hit the world stage and is responsible for breaking many modern classics. Dylan's accolades and willingness to push boundaries are endless; not only was he one of the first successful Dutch techno producers, he was also one of the first in this genre to perform live, notching up an
impressive discography along the way. Since then he has compiled mixes for the legendary Voltt club and BBC Radio 1's
Essential Mix, completed tours of South America and Asia as well as regularly headlining festivals and clubs. This summer Dylan was a resident at the massive Tonight parties at Amnesia Ibiza!
