Talib Kweli made his studio debut with Mos Def on 1998's Black Star. The uncontested king of underground hip-hop has worked with artists as diverse as Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Norah Jones and The Roots and counts Jay-Zand 50 Cent amongst his fans. Aside from performing all over the world with his unique style, his collection of solo releases including recent album Gutter Rainbows have been well received and influential.
