Combining charisma and passion with catchy melodies and raw power, The Headstart are a fresh new face to what is Punk rock/ pop in the U.K. Taking heavy influences from past and present artist throwing them all into one big mix adding the special twist of what is The Headstart Imagine a fusion of Blink 182 and New Found Glory collaborated with the mainstream pop acts on 20 cups of coffee, standing in front of a wall of 4x12 marshal Cabs with a dose of afew unexpected genres to add to the potent flavour. This is the kind of feeling, taste and emotion you get when listening/ watching The Headstart.

We are determined and will not stop at nothing throwing all and everything we have into every little thing we do. Each member brings the right ingredients together. In the past we have been in some very
bad situations together which, without one another, we could not be here today. This shows the relationship we four have with one another. Giving 110% into everything we do regarding The Headstart. We are a
very ambitious and pro-active band that believes in our music.

In our early years the release of our first single brought us some commercial success with it featuring on a surfing championship video with Kelly Slater winning his 9th Title. The release of our first single alsobrought the opportunity to play The Big Reunion Festival which scored us £1,000. Along the way we have managed to support bands such as The Enemy & The Holloways, Spunge, Attack Attack, My passion, Not Advised, All Forgotten, Paige, Jody Has a Hitlist, Flood of Red & Failsafe to just name a few. The realise of our E.P The Beginning gained us airplay on various radio stations in the UK such as BBC Introducing, also opening a whole lot of new doors playing academys with other great bands.

Working with different people in the industry. Some not so legit, and others very real we have built up a good understanding and belief as to what is needed within this industry. We have had the opportunity to work with T.V presenter Gail Porter which opened a new world for us, giving us the opportunity to branch out getting our name about within the industry further more. This ranges from Major artists to Production companies, T.V airplay, radio presenters, Big promotion/ Live events, Magazines and many more companies.

Recently we have just recorded two new tracks with producer John Mitchell Outhouse studios. We are set to do a release with Record label Engineer Records which is looking very promising and exciting for
a new release of a short Album with them and hitting the road on tour in 2011.
