Lineup and details
Clockcleaner (Load Records) - Loud and ugly brawl rock hailing from the City of Brotherly Love. Clockcleaner is a three piece mixing a hateful stew of wiry hard rock suitable for beating friends and family. The band tours it's second full length, a confident record that will climb to the top of your stereo with its addictive pummel ... all the while pulling your cod piece/quim patch around your ankles.
Orchid Trip - From Brighton making grungy/methodical/experimental Albini-esque noise-tripped slabs of atonal destruction. Promoting their new album produced/engineered by the man himself.
Wander Phantom - From the ashes of the now-defunct The Swarm, jettisoning the troublesome idea of guitar completely they come on thick with a 2 bass attack and rolling, taut rhythms. The confessional/ confrontational lyrical approach of their previous band is still there but this time there is meat not bluster to back it up with some seriously powerhouse riffery.
Electric Freetime Machine - "Electric Free Time Machine From deepest Lancashire quote Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart and Tom Waits (among others) as their influences. Described by a local newspaper as having "a sinister edge to their jam based experimental grooves", Electric Free Time Machine resists easy categorisation. From hard and fast psychedelic punk boneyard blues and vast experimental krautrock ambient strangeness, to abrasive shambolic metal and delicate acoustic folk."
