Lineup and details for Sin City Country Rock Club on Saturday 9th June 2007

Sin City celebrates with style Country/Country influenced Rock and Bluegrass from the late 1960's (Byrds,Poco,Flying Burrito Brothers) through to the mid/late 1970's (Eagles,Emmylou Harris). The obscure tunes of The Dillards,Charlie Daniels Band,David Allan Coe etc are mixed together with the favourites of the era, Glen Campbell,Bellamy Brothers,Kenny Rogers and lots more.

No "Modern stuff" to be heard here, after all Sin City is hosted by the same Hippies that bring us the long running vintage Rock night "Heavy Load".

Prepare to be Rocked in the Country!

("Western Wear" if you want to be cool!)

This month sees a celebration of Country Rebel/Sin City favourite Waylon Jennings who would have been 70 years old this month. Expect to hear his "Theme from the Dukes of Hazard" along with dancefloor favourites "Black Rose/Ramblin Man/Mama's don't let you babies grow up to be cowboys" and lots more throughout the night including original versions of Waylon's songs by Billy Joe Shaver, Willie Nelson, Steve Young, George Jones and Lee Clayton and of course all the other Club favourites.
