She grew up in a family of artists in the countryside in Gloucestershire.

Nell has always surrounded herself with music and started writing her own songs when she left school at 15 to learn guitar and focus on a career in music. Her influences include: 'Screamin' Jay Hawkins' 'Tom Waits' 'Joni Mitchell' 'Edith Piaf' and 'Dolly Parton'.

Nell is currently living in London, gigging and soon to be recording her debut album.
