Lineup and details
4th April
Inxec [Contexterior,Four:Twemty]
Gower Ramsey [Resopal, Ditched Resident]
Nottinghams finest Chris Sylvester disguised under many aliases has been releasing as Inxec only since 2004 yet the quality of his production has gained him many fans amongst electronic musics biggest stars Inxec supporters now include Jay Haze, Hawtin, Franìois K, Matt Tolfrey and the ubiquitously awesome Vilallobos. Remixes are coming in fast and furious as the reputation continues to grow, and the solo productions are just as prolific. The eagerly expected virgin album is in the tube and the itinerary is hectic with DJ gigs pencilled in zigzag patterns across the world. That?s the other thing. Inxec enjoys the live DJ experience but beware, these are not an everyday occurrence. Keeping to the ethos of much in little his sets are few and far between, but special in every way. Using more technology than NASA could boast his sets are layered landscapes stripped down to the naked minimum, then rebuilt with the confusing precision only he could tell you about. His live sets are rare. There?s a reason for this; so much effort and time are invested in these crowd enchanting epics, so much sex, so much love, so much groove that they are special, and they needs to be kept that way. Just like the music.
11th April
Horse Meat Disco Night
James Hillard Horse [Horse Meat Disco]
Jim Stanton [Horse Meat Disco]
Since its humble beginnings over 4 years ago Horse Meat Disco has become an institution on both sides of the sexual divide due in large part to its dedication and appreciation to Disco music in all its forms. The brainchild of James Hillard and Jim Stanton via the inspiration of New York nightlife legend Adam Goldstone (RIP) the idea was to create an alternative party that harped back to the halcion days of parties like The Loft and The Gallery in New York whilst at the same time adapting it for a London crowd and always looking to the future. This formula proved successful from the start and led the club to take up its residency every Sunday in the most fantastic South London boozer: Eagle London.
