Review of Venetian Snares
Venetian Snares was great, but the event wasn't at all what it was advertised as. As was expecting to see Venetian Snares, not to have to bear though 4 hours of a rave-like night to get there. By the time his set started, most people were too drunk and high to make it possible to stay near the stage without it being a massive hassle (especially for someone short). At some point, I was also sat by a wall, got asked to move to another corner by a security guy... only to realise after sitting where he pointed at that the floor was covered in sick. Nice.

Review of Venetian Snares
Vanetian snares cares more about showcasing his art then whether the crowd is having a good time. When DMX Krew finished atmosphere was good, he successfully spoiled it. I left after 30 min. So, disappointed with this experiment, sounds were ok, but no fun at all. All others were brilliant!

Review of Sick Chirpse & Gold Teeth Present: HIGH ROLLERS ROLLER DISCO
Utterly woeful. After queuing for over half an hour we were all told we couldn't have any skates as they didn't provide any above a size 6. The venue itself was tiny. After they shut the skating area not everyone could fit in the dancing area so walking to the bar and to the toilet was a nightmare and actually quite dangerous. This event definitely not do what it said on the tin.

Would have been good to actually skate but we still had a good time regardless. It wasn't clear on the ticket when skating ended and it was only once we had got to the front of the skate queue that we were told we couldn't anymore. The bouncers were rude and unhelpful, but I think that's just expected from bouncers these days! The venue was okay - quite bare and not as big as I thought it would be, but the smoking area was a good size. Drinks were cheap enough so still had a good night regardless that we didn't get to do what we went there for!

Got there at 11.45 and queued for 15 minutes before being told that there would be no more rollerblading allowed after 12. We got there before 12?? So we should have been able to skate. Also it was never said that roller blading would stop at 12??? Anyway we went inside to the venue and the music was OK Ish. Some old school music is fine but I think 3 songs from this millennia were played. Not a good balance, play more new music please! Then around about 1am loads of lights game on so It felt like the middle of the day, nobody wants that, and to top it off the DJ's stopped at 1.30 when I payed for them to play till 2......

Review of Alfresco \'all dayer\' @ Shapes
Bit remote-not easy to get to as a venue. Sound quality was a bit poor and drinks were over priced. Bit cramped and awkward getting in and out of the building-I'm currently nursing a sore knee as a result of a dodgy step. Music was decent at points but speaker/sound quality inside venue wasn't great. Event lacked atmosphere and was less than half full on the dance floor throughout.
