Forget nu rave - Hardcore will never die so reach for the lasers and revisit the old skool as Altern 8’s chemical warfare hits the newly owned Redstar in Camberwell.
From manning deck chairs in Stafford to manning the decks of the world’s most credible raves and festivals...
Mark Archer and Chris Peat embarked on their musical mission as techno outfit Nexus 21 but it was a change in direction and their rave pantomime in the early 90s that saw them conquer the charts as Altern8 with “Activ8 (Come with me)” and “Evapor8”.
Playing their only London gig, rave legends mrnex (Mark) &mkone (Chris)will be dusting down their boiler suits to take you on a vapourised, twisted and sweaty journey of dance music.
Grab your glow sticks and unify in masked hysteria to celebrate the criminal justice that is Altern 8...
