Answers on a postcard about the meaning behind the name and the travel allusions don’t end there, because for the first time in this year’s Surface Unsigned Festival, we all hailed to a band from Botswana. Even though they’re only a three piece, through the spades of individual talent and their five years together, you could have been forgiven for thinking that there were six of them up there playing their hearts out. With a dedicated following gulping down every note, David Garber’s vocals flooded the venue with wave after wave of coruscating sentiment as Used2bsyris showed off an ensemble act that the three musketeers would have been proud of.
