Pacha Ibiza presents: Eivissa listings

Pacha in Ibiza is one of the most famous and long-running clubs in the world. Synonymous with classy, sexy house music. After the success of the first Pacha Club in the seaside town of Sitges.  Ricardo Urgell saw an opportunity for a similar venture on the Balearic Island of Ibiza.  As Francos reign reached its end, Ibiza and Pacha were destined to become a hub for the free expressions of the hippie movement and glamorous hedonists of Spanish society. The building was designed and decorated by Ricardo Urgell and longtime friend Jorge Goula and was built in 1972-1973.  They decided to design it using the typical Mediterranean style with its characteristic simplicity and whiteness, flat roofs and small windows. Like Ibizan style houses, the building has a central mainroom with all the other rooms adjacent and terraced, allowing for the organic feel that exists and allows for seamless growth.

On 30^th September Pacha Ibiza brings some Mediterranean magic to Pacha London with Eivissa. When Pacha opened, way back in 1973, in an old farmhouse just outside Ibiza town no one dreamt of what it would bring to the world. During the 70's and 80's, whilst Ibiza was widely unknown, Pacha played host to the rich and famous, who came to escape the press and party in the most outrageous manner. Since then the club has become world renowned for it's stylish decor, cosmopolitan mix of people and quality of it's nights. Because of the success of this club there are now 70 different Pacha's around the world, and Pacha London is a jewel in the Pacha crown.

For this special occasion Pacha are bringing over a selection of their world famous dancers and performers to wow the crowds. In the main room Juan Diaz (Pacha Ibiza) & Sarah Main (Pacha Ibiza) will be bringing their mix of Pacha fused house with Shuey Aurora warming things up while upstairs in the funky room Promised with be delivering uptempo rhythms.
