Philadelphia born musician Santogold will play a one off gig for Levi’s® OnesToWatch® this month, in Shoreditch. Her wildly eclectic sound is a mix of pop, rock, dub and electronic influences. Her debut features a roll call of cutting edge collaborators (Diplo, Disco D, Sinden) which makes for a record packed full of intoxicating, nuclear powered pop songs.
Former ‘songwriter for hire’ for artists including Lily Allen, and guest vocalist on Mark Ronson’s ‘Versions’ album, Santogold has finally come into her own in 2008, with an original and quality debut. www.myspace.com/santogold
