Lucenzo will be performing an exclusive live 30-minute show backed by his DJ Eren and rapper MC Wlad who will also playing in their own right. Lucenzos Danza Kuduro, has been the global summer anthem of 2011, reaching No. 1 in eight European countries, smashing it in the resorts this summer, and becoming the biggest Latin song of the year in the U.S. The video to Danza Kuduro went on to become an internet sensation with 250 million views on YouTube, making it the 3rd most watched video. The music and dance known as Kuduro, first originated in Angola before becoming one of the most popular genres in Portugal and France, blending dancehall, latin, house, punk and techno. Artists including MIA and Buraka Som Sistema have supported Kuduro. Lucenzo will be supported by Brazilian-born rap artist and La Bomba regular, Yuri Aggro Santos, who rose to fame when his debut single Candy charted top 5 in the UK in 2010 and subsequently appeared on ITVs Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. He is signed to Gary Barlows Future Records label through Universal Music.
La Bomba, London's explosive and essential Latin fiesta returns set to spread Latin love over London again this Xmas at their annual mega jam as 12 British Latino DJ's come together for La Bomba's annual UK Showdown and like last years Xmas party its set to play to a capacity crowd. Showcasing the best in reggaeton, dancehall, Latin hip-hop, house and electro sounds, La Bomba's mash-up main floor will feature a 30 minute exclusive live performance by Lucenzo, backed by his own DJ Eren and MC Wlad, who also will be performing a 30 minute live set back up by our very own Jose Luis, Gato, Saul Maya, Urbano, and Silvao from Leeds with percussion by Marcos Santana. Ministry's Bar area will be hosted by Michael Golpe, Flecha, Javier La Rosa, and DJ Tuli, swinging to the sounds of salsa, meringue & bachata. The Loft will host La Bomba's house room featuring the best in Latin-flavoured house and electro with El Moreno and Dirty Menez. The Baby Box will feature the tropical Latino dance sounds of Bachata and Kizomba with DJ Marito and Fadi K. There will be VIP areas in both rooms and the club offers table service - reservations preferred.
