IBIZA UNDERGROUND PRESENTS… THE OLYMPIC PARTY! At Ibiza Underground the music is everything! This is why we always book DJs that push boundaries, playing the latest cutting edge sounds. We believe that if clubbing was a sport in the Olympics then our crowd, our DJs and our music would all be winners!! So this month we continue to bring you a line-up full of headliners, some may even call them gold medal DJs. And to celebrate we are going to have an Olympic party! It’s the perfect combination and I love him” Tom Novy “Goodwill is the most upfront DJ in Oz” Mark Brown MYNC Project --------------------------- BEGINNERZ (AZULI) The Beginnerz got together four years ago thanks to their mutual friend Stanton Warrior. Dom B. Ewan Macneil AKA Def-E had previously been producing tracks for Low Pressings and Kidsound in between DJing in the UK and internationally, whilst Ibi Tijani was working as a programmer for Faithless. Their very first production, Reckless Girl, brought them instant international success and became ‘the talk of the town’ (according to Norman Cook anyway) at the 2002 Miami Winter Music Conference. They set foot back in the UK to find themselves top of the Buzz Chart, Cool Cuts and Hype Chart simultaneously. Seb Fontaine, Judge Jules and Pete Tong all got behind the track which pushed it straight up the UK Charts to 28 when it was released through Cheeky Records (BMG). Internationally ‘the track of the year’ (Judge Jules words, not ours!) was heavily playlisted on radio and TV. --------------------------- DAMIAN WILSON (CR2 RECORDS/RADIO 1) Damian Wilson has been at the front of the dance scene for the last decade either producing the biggest radio show in the world for BBC Radio 1, a resident for Type at The Cross in London, A&R Manager for CR2 Records and now even moving into production. --------------------------- SONNY WHARTON (KISSDAFUNK) “What makes Sonny stand out from the pack is his combination of talent and determination.” – DJ MAG Sonny Wharton is one of the most in-demand new DJs on the club circuit today. After winning the renaissance mix-tape competition in DJ Mag, Sonny stormed Ibiza landing a weekly residency at Manumission, rocking Amnesia and DJing on Radio 1! Since then he’s racked up slots at the likes of Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Godskitchen, Chibuku and Renaissance and consistently gains rave reviews in the media; DJ Mag, Mix Mag, IDJ and MTV all included. Hailed as one of the original MixMag future heroes alongside Nic Fancuilli and Tom Neville worldwide demand has seen Sonny rock numerous clubs and festivals in Australia, Brazil, China, Mexico, Morocco, Ibiza, Russia and USA, hold down a monthly residency in Barcelona, complete 2 solo world tours and play to over 1 million people at the Love Parade in Berlin. -------------------------- Calling all of London’s fun, mad and crazy party people… THE THEME IS THE OLYMPICS!!
