The creators of The Last Days of Decadence find a new Soho home at Madame Jojos. Every Thursday night from January 27th 2011, Bête Noire presents a voodoo stew of vintage-inspired live music, cabaret (both classic and contemporary), plus the riotous sounds of the Bête Noire DJs to keep the dancefloor jumping until the wee small hours.
Following on from two years of wildly successful East London parties, the Bête Noire gang will bring the most hotly-tipped perfomers around to legendary West End basement of debauchery Madame JoJos. With a new venue, a new resident compere, a new house band formed especially for Bête Noire and a few surprises up our well-tailored sleeve, 2011 looks set to be a year of sophisticated debauchery and louche entertainment.
Your resident hostess is the inimitable potty-mouthed pin-up Ophelia Bitz. An internationally reveilled ring-mistress, vocalist and performance artist, Ophelia strides the stage draped in winged monkeys, drinking, seducing and intimidating audiences from dust til dawn. This classless broad has appeared on BBC Radio 4s Woman's Hour, on Channel 4, in the pages of numerous international magazines, and toured with The Tigerlillies, Dresden Dolls and pop star Mika.

Doors: 7pm- 3am, formal cabaret 8.30pm, club cabaret 9pm, live bands and Dj's from 11pm
£7 in advance including reserved seating, £18 in advance including reserved seating and dining, £7 cash on the door, standing tickets.
