Lineup and details
The Chap - A five-piece experimental pop band from London. Their music is a mix of rock and pop with small quantities of almost every other genre thrown in for good measure. They are known for their energetic live shows, which often end with exploding violins and cellos.
" ... precisely brilliant compilation of bullish drum loops, arrhythmic guitar squelches and wormlike pop hooks that imbed themselves in the brain ..." - Slant (review of Mega Breakfast album).

Barringtone - Barry Dobbin left Clor and joined Connan Coolidge and Boomer Opperman as Barringtone, whose music, produced by fellow sonic explorer Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco, is as frenetic and funkily complex as ever. A Barringtone song might be about anything from municipal architecture to animal husbandry.
"... unhinged but accessible, deranged but irresistible experimental pop with a sensibility informed by a love of Eno, Moroder, Devo and, yes, Todd Rundgren, pop's greatest ever wizard and should-have-been true star." - guardian.co.uk.
"... a sonic miasma of bizarre urge-driven splendour ..." - Rough Trade.
"Its heady, brainf*** stuff, but all the better for it" - The Times.

Natccu -
Tokyo-born Natccu is a singer-songwriter, her performances a unique blend of gritty rock, melodic pop and enka style.
Her wavering, soaring voice can be hysterical, filled with dramatic gulps of passion; or quiet, seductive or sweet; but always with impressive control. The voice soars over tight rhythm, crunchy guitars and crashing keys. Natccu's first album, 'Sketchbook', was awash with unpredictable melodies and direct production; these songs have evolved along with her style, as Natccu and her band play eclectic live shows that re-imagine and reconfigure her sound at every turn. Currently working on a new album with famed producer Akira Murata, she has a set of abrasive yet chart-worthy songs to unveil on her debut UK tour.
"Natccu ... effortlessly engages with all different styles of music, from acoustic folk, to twinkling piano and jazz-enfused numbers, to sew a sonic patchwork of inner-city ideals." - NME.
"... gutsy pop with hysteric vocal stylings that recall Kate Bush as much as anything Japanese ... " - Drowned In Sound.
"Silken-voiced singer-songwriter" - The Japan Times.
