Lineup and details
Madame JoJos regular God Dont Like It continues to deliver the best in blues, rock, garage, psychedelia, freakbeat, alt-folk and alt-country, plus brilliant bands. Live tonight:
The Guillotines:
Ex-coffin-makers from Hove, a unique dirty rock band with style and attitude. Cutting edge sax playing and a wild rasping vocalist - think Howlin Wolf filtered through heavy distortion, feedback and squealing guitar. Giving it 500 per cent, The Guillotines channel metal-blues for an indie audience.
Thee Vicars
Spreading the word of the god that is rock n roll, teenage foursome from Bury St Edmunds create raw, vintage garage rock n roll with energy, feedback and fuzz.
The Rayographs
Jess, Amy and Astrud, blending cropped observational narratives, stark impressions of strange histories, dark blue Lynchian atmospherics cut with sharp drums and curious basslines - harshness and subtlety carefully balanced. The Rayographs have aired on XFM's John Kennedy Exposure, recently sessioned on Resonance FM and release their first 7" single in August.
DJs: GDLI + Guests.
