Time for some fun at Jump Jive and Shout the lively, retro style party night with retro diva and vinyl queen dj Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the very best in, sizzlin, pulsating,uplifting, energy driven 1940s/50s rhythm n blues, jump jive, boogie woogie, doo wop, blues shouters and more. Come and enjoy the wonderful music from some of the great originators of what went on to become known as rock n roll: Louis Jordan, Little Richard, LaVern Baker, The Chords, The Coasters, Big Joe Turner and many others.
The music is always the star of the show so feel free to dress in your own style. Give in to your musical urge and enjoy the sizzlin, pulsating sounds that captures the feel of the juke-joints, gins houses and rent parties of 40s/ 50s Harlem,Louisiana and the early Jamaican basement blues nights of 50s Notting Hill.
