Lineup and details for Jamie and the Portraits - Live in London on Thursday 23rd February 2012
MusicVita Presents;
Jamie and the Portraits LIVE in London!
A fantastic show coming 23rd February 2012!
Headlining Brazen 3 piece Jamie & The Portraits fresh from summer festival appearances and sold out shows this autumn announce the release of their 2nd E.P. Molotovs And Chinos and yet another UK tour for 2011.
Molotovs And Cocktails is a bundle of explosive youthful energy, sarcastic wit and cheeky humor within upbeat tuneful sing along anthems. It is unassuming boyish romance, with a hint of what it means to be young and restless in the Kent countryside.
Lemons and Limelight a track from the E.P. is available to download for free from

3 piece Indie/Pop Band From Kent
BBC Kent's Stephen Morris:
"Jamie & The Portraits' songs are gorgeously light of touch - perfect music for the approach towards summertime."
Islington's Hope and Anchor:
"Upbeat indie pop rock typa thing. Paolo Nutini meets The View. Rousing songsmithery."
Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on the door!

Duke Biography:
Duke are a distorted young three-piece alternative rock band, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Fusing a fine balance of beauty and noise, varying dynamics and catchy vocals, they work relentlessly to create a refreshingly original sound, both on and off stage.
Taking influence from Scottish alternative music such as Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic, and Frightened Rabbit, Duke have been already secured high profile supports across the UK with the likes of Dinosaur Pile-up, Johnny Foreigner and another very notable influence, Sucioperro. Other supports include: Little Comets, Lightguides, Fatherson and The LaFontaines.
With the explosive release of new single Hopes & High Horses ,recorded and mixed by Bruce Rintoul (Biffy Clyro/Twin Atlantic/Fatherson) and accompanying music video (filmed and edited by Joshua Porter Photography), successfully under their belt, the three-piece look to have a busy year ahead of them with a number of tours, supports, and releases in the pipeline.
