Every third Thursday of the month, Michel D. and his guests welcomes you to a night of happiness and good music from every genre.
Everything has stated there, at the Horse & Groom, for Michel. He co-founded and was resident DJ of Cliché parties, which was launch 3 years ago at the H&G, and ended up last year in a warehouse with a party that blasted everybodys mind! After moving back to his hometown Paris, Certain Thursday is the occasion for Michel to bring his friends, friends of friends and their friends to have fun, listen to good music, from early chilled out sets to late party tunes, every month. Bringing with him the best up and coming DJs to well known east London artists, Certain Thursday is not a party to be missed!
This month its a reviaval not only for Michel, but for his special guest French Kriss too, because they created, promoted, and were resident DJ of Cliché together! And the list continues as MDMX is the 2nd DJ guest, and she played several Cliché parties, from the Horse & Groom to the last Warehouse Party, completing a 100% Cliché/frenchies line up!

French Kriss

French Kriss a.k.a. Chris de Multifunkshun is musician, singer, song writer, producer, party promoter and DJ. Chris created the legendary MULTIFUNKSHUN party in Paris in the early 2000s the biggest Funk party Paris has ever seen. He then went on to become resident DJ on Tout le monde en parle Frances most popular Saturday night TV show. He has released several singles on the French label Naive and produces music for television on both sides of the Channel. He currently Djs all over the world. Chris has lived in the UK for five years, and along with Cliché he built residencies from Manchester to Norwich.

MDMX

MDMX is a dj/producer/promoter member based in east london. Addicted to loud bass, remixes, dutch tunes and hot R'nb she is a regular in the east london nighlife.
Resident dj at Twat Boutique (Dalston Superstore), Flashmob (Vogue Fabric) she also takes over the Joiners Arms every first sunday of the month. She shared many lines up with Peaches, La Roux, Crystal Fighters, Larry Tee, Jo & Will Ask... As Party promoter, she hosted "Spank Me" at On the rocks and Korsan Bar.
She's also a member of the band GLDGRVZ, an electronic duo with music producer Sarah Nag (The Voyeurist) since 2010. Their track "I am a ghost" was featured on the Tom Robinson's show on BBC 6 Radio.

Michel D.

Michel D. is a DJ and producer who lives back in Paris after 4 years of Londonisation, two cities where he developed an amazing styles of Djing. He is one of the co-founders of Cliché which made the East London art scene vibrate for more than 3 years. Michel is also resident in different parties and clubs such as Musicalia (by Isa GT), Scopitone (Paris) and has played a bit everywhere in East London and Paris trendy clubs. Apart from Djing, Michel is part of Studio M and new Pop/Electro band on their way to release their debut EP. Including edits and remixes from Wolf+Lamb, Isa GT and more.
