DJ Africathy is back once again with her new music & film night. Weaving together the powerful rhythms and inspiring sounds that are the backbone of the continent with screenings of feature films, documentaries and music clips that speak of the people behind the music and give a voice to the giants of visual and aural storytelling. Februarys screening is of Coupé directed by Osita Aneke, a feature-length documentary about Coupé Decalé, music which flies between Ivory-Coast and Paris like a ping-pong ball. The music in the film is about joy, unity and brotherhood rising from the ashes of civil war.
Doors 7pm. Film 7.30. Music 9pm
