Lineup and details Lineup and details for Brazilian Frenzy! on Tuesday 14th October 2008

On Tuesday 14th October, Guanabara, London’s premier Brazilian late night venue, is proud to host ‘Brazilian Frenzy’ – a fundraising event with charities La Vida and Siao.

Brazilian Frenzy’ will be the ultimate Brazilian party experience, full of culture and entertainment. The line-up includes a fashion show by Vogue-featured designer Emilia Wickstead (www.emiliawickstead.com) and cat-walk show featuring Brazilian bikinis from Mel e Maracujá and leather bags by designer Mona Ramos. Elsewhere there are make-your-own caipirinha lessons, capoeira, a raffle, couture gown auction and spectacular samba show.

Tickets to Brazilian Frenzy will cost a minimum of £10 per person and can be purchased at www.justgiving.com/brazilianfrenzynight. Tickets will be pre-sold, with some available on the door.

Up to £6,000 of funds will go to a plantation project in Brasilia, Brazil, administered by the Siao Orphanage. Siao’s goal is to plant a fruit and vegetable plantation to provide for the children’s daily nutrition. They will also sell their home-grown produce to provide a regular income for Siao, helping the project to become self-sufficient.
