Straight outta Nashville and self styled vagrants of the world The Black Diamond Heavies sound like a freight train derailing and rock twice as hard- a unique punk blues pairing of drums and keys or as they put it skin and bone. Imagine the ghosts of John Bonham and Ray Charles jamming Fat Possum's back catalogue in hell with Tom Waits on vocals and you're half way there......

John Wesley Myers plays bass keys, Fender Rhodes, organ and vocals (left hand of rhythm, right had of soul) and Van Campbell nails down the big beat. The boys have been consistently touring the UK since their first visit with The Immortal Lee County Killers in 2004 and blew part both What's Cookin' and The Dirty Water Club on their last visit to London in March this year.

The 'Heavies are currently recording their second album, "A Touch of Someone Else's Class" with Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys) at the controls and is set for release on Alive Naturalsound very soon.
