Lineup and Details for Amazing Apples 'Branching Out' Tour (exclusive UK dates) on Sun 27th January 2013
Amazing Apples are one of Ireland's fastest rising stars.
Their Branching Out tour begins with three exclusive and intimate UK performances.
Highlights for the band in 2012 included a rocking performance at the Electric Picnic, a fabulous show with The Saw Doctors at The Volvo Ocean Race, a debut originals EP which went straight to number one on the download charts, headlining the St. Patricks Day Festival in Bucharest Romania and opening for the great Mumford and Sons and Damien Dempsey. They were also chosen twice as Play Irish artists of the month. The Apples profile has risen quickly in the past few months, as word has spread fast about this musically versatile and talented band with massive charisma and huge live appeal.
Their popularity has snowballed throughout Ireland since last March when the band focused on original music, shaking off their covers band beginnings to develop their own unique sound. That sound is Irish/Americana with tons of personality and high-energy performances. All the members are multi-instrumentalists incorporating bouzouki, mandolin, keyboard and banjo for their live show.
Often compared to early Waterboys, their live shows have become legendary.
