Lineup and details for Cover Up on Friday 10th February 2012
In an underground ex-toilet in Shepherds Bush, theres a funky revolution going on. With live bands and DJs on the night, unpretentious, non-exclusive, and always full of happy people, Cover Up does things properly. Like Jazzy B says, a happy face, a thumping bass, for a loving race.
This month were excited to bring you not one, but two super soulful guests in the shape of Tarrah Reynolds (www.facebook.com/tarrahreynolds) and Norman Vladimir (www.normanvladimir.com). Theyve come all the way from New York, which is in America, so even if youre from East London, you ought to make the effort to get across town to catch them.
The Fontanas
Funky resident house band the Fontanas will be fielding a full first team lineup and doing what they always do, whipping the crowd up into a state of near delerium and leaving them begging for more.
DJ C-Boogie has had a big samba re-up recently and will be ready to drop bombs.
