Lineup and details for Berlin Takover With Best Works + G I Disco on Saturday 22nd October 2011
It's a Berlin take over of East Village on Saturday 22 April as super hot label Best Works take over the basement, while the G.I.Disco boys host the lounge. Headlining the Best Work's basement will be Prommer and Barck who will be performing their first live gig in the UK. (Christian) Prommer and (Alex Jazzanova) Barck are both highly respected producers and djs in their own rights and it's with great anticipation we await their first ever UK live show after the recent release of their highly acclaimed 'Alex and The Grizzly' album.
DJ support comes from Best Work's main producer and killer house dj Andre Lodemann (who turned it out properly at The East Village 3rd birthday back in Feb). Further support comes from Eva Be, well known for her many ace releases on Sonar Kollektiv, its also another UK debut with Eva's first dj set over here.
Upstairs Daniel Best and Kalle Kuts take over as G I Disco, their take on soulful 80's dance music (perfectly summed up on their recent compilation on BBE) introduced to Germany by Amercian G I 's stationed in Berlin (and all over Europe in the cold war times)
It's also their first UK gig so without doubt the demand for this party is going to be massive!
