Wired For Mono was formed in 2002, and first release “Travel in turns” 7” quickly received great reviews. The following “Re: Golden Hits EP” 2004 has broadened WFM´s market through fine reviews and better distribution. The reputation of a thrilling live act has been established through frequent live shows in
Sweden
and
Europe
. The sound of WFM has been associated with bands like the Byrds, early Rolling Stones, Union Carbide Productions, Radio Birdman and Charlatans.
They are here playing for one night only at the superb, Dublin Castle.

The sheer volume is comparable to the avant-garde Noo York art attack of early Sonic Youth, while 'Carmen's Dream' is a disorientating Byrds-type psychedelic-raga freak-out. As brilliant debut single 'Travel in Turns' gets twisted from an alt.country groover into a pilled-up Rolling Stones space drone, the vigilant audience takes careful steps backwards: it's an apocalyptic soundclash between the Charlatans-type canyon-rock and the audio-roar of a 747 taking off mixed in with some Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
