Hadn't seen much 'live' music of late, but... 20 years since the beginning of dance music & we are reduced to this. £40 a ticket, then buy a programme (cynical to not let us know the times for bands for nothing) £3.50 for a can of beer, can't take your own in and this is just the start. 'Get loaded in the park?' what with drugs not legalized and a 9pm curfew! Really up for Miss Kitten, Peaches, Laurent Garnier & Orbital. But very average really. Orbital? On the money gravytrain. Were a classic dance outfit. But now, just programming a best of with nothing new, F-ING Doctor Who as a finish, plus truly awful Belinda Carlisle rejig and no F-ING encore. Music is in crisis & the commercialism of all these events just leaves me very depressed.
