Andy quirk presents Hits of the Near Future @ Catch on Wednesday May 21st with...
Digital Bath / Black Poets / EDC / The Citizens
Andy quirk presents a towering night of rock entertainment at Catch with dancefloor indie hits filling the gaps before, between and after.
Digital Bath (formerly Kalev) play the sort of dark and brooding Joy Divisionesque sounds that every night needs. Intellectual but danceable, they were hugely successful in their former incarnation. We wait with baited breath. Black Poets return to Catch with INDY Award nominations under their belts, an EP to promote and festivals this summer. Powerful emotional dark rock. Ones to watch grow and grow. Described by some as Interpol meets REM, EDC are "brimming with energy and conviction" (Matchbox recordings) with "a solid debut" (London Student.) Opening the night are The Citizens, a band who describe their sound as "Indie X", a deft combination of guitars and hiphop sounds. On a mission to create a people's army they're storming all over London, join the East London contingent!
