Go!Zilla has lined up three spectacular live sets for your ears to devour this May with a mixture of musical styles and diversity.
Finally Norway is on the map thanks to Diskjokke, injecting his warped disco flavours to create a warm, melodic pop-sound. His releases have graced Prins Thomas’ Full Pupp label and the Get Physical sub-label, Kindisch to great acclaim. A classically trained musician his music is structured and yet unarguably ground-breaking. His live set for Go!Zilla that has us jumping up and down with excitement.
Ali Love has pushed up from the underground into global domination with collaborations with the Chemical Bros and many chart-topping hits in the past year and we’re not the only ones who’ve been watching. An old friend of Go!Zilla’s this is a WORLD DEBUT of his ‘Love Harder’ live set which veers down a dance route than his previous shows and time for him to unleash his new material.
Lesser Panda are also no strangers to Go!Zilla. Since their performance last year their status as a well-kept secret has leapt to recognition in NME, Vice, Music Week and Guardian Guide. Likened to James Murphy, The Cure and the Rapture it seems they capture all the elements of explosive musical fun.
Alejandro Asencio is a busy bee, as part of the LuckyCloud Soundsystem he also had a hand in setting up the legendary NY Loft parties that are now also a fixture in London. His style weaves between disco, Balearic and cosmic sounds catch his warm-up to the live sets to get the feet moving. Last but not least our resident and co-creator James Priestley shares his enduring take on the current musical climate.
James and Terry Hart started Go!Zilla to turn the London scene on its head combining live music with DJ exclusives from inspiring fresh artists. Reaching their 3rd bday in July their parties still educate and deliver good times and music for us all.
