These 14 comedy acts have been chosen from 150 entrants at ten auditions held in London over the last two months, with acts from all over the UK participating.
New Act of the Year (NATY) is now in its 29th year . In recent years the showcase was held at the Hackney Empire. This year Britons most important platform for new acts will be held for the first time at The Barbican Theatre
New Variety Lives considers that this years show will introduce to the big stage an exceptionally high quality of new acts and will present to the audience and the panel of industry Judges (Comedy Press, Promoters, Producers, Agents) an evening of tantalising choices
Our regular NATY MC, Arthur Smith, will once again be hosting the evening
