Lineup and details
Get Diverted are returning to The Crypt on May 10th, bringing their usual recipe of sublime house music and like minded party people to one of London's most unique venues, Babalou. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and as there was no Get Diverted in April we are chomping at the bit to get back to what we know best... how to throw a great party!!!
Headlining May's event is a true future tech-house hero .... Toolroom Records Matt Samuels. Matt grabbed clubland's attention last year with his awesome reworking of Depeche Mode's classic "Enjoy the Silence". This tune was given the ultimate seal of approval by James Zabeila and Nic Fanciulli when the pair selected the track as the set-closing banger that would send crowds into raptures across every chapter of their hugely successful world tour. His distinct techy sound which has been consistent on his releases on Deeper Substance and Cr2 transpires into his DJ sets and will set the Get Diverted Dancefloor alight.
Alongside Matt, will be fellow Toolroom producer and Get Diverted Resident Mark Storie. Mark has created a real affinity with the Babalou dancefloor during his residency and has been one of the driving forces behind Get Diverted being one of South London's most successful club nights. Supporting will be Jesse James, possibly the most in demand DJ on London's club circuit and the creator of London's fastest growing superbrand... Connected.
May 10th also sees one of our favourite DJ's Lofty celebrate his 30th Birthday.. as we can't expect him to be in to be in a fit state to play he is bringing fellow Illicit Audio DJ John Kirven to provide the birthday soundtrack...The big man is rather fond of fancy dress so don't be disturbed to see a number of wide eyed pirates on the dance floor!
See you in the Crypt people!!
