Lineup and details
After April's ecstatically eargasmic experience, Jak is back to tear up the aquarium once again. With the naughtiest deep jakin house beats, jazzy bassline and pure gold oozing from the speakers, this is not one to miss!
Providing the aural ecstasy for the main room will be two boys who have been pounding the worlds deep house scene for what seems like forever. They have been lured from the depths to tease and please your bodies, get your minds buzzing and leave you begging for more. Bringing you 'INLAND KNIGHTS'. Fresh back from their tour of Australia this will indeed be a very special appearance for the Nottingham lads, as we help them celebrate Drop Music's 10th Birthday. Now all we need is you and your dancing shoes...
The Drop Music catalogue now has 56 releases to its credit, and is renowned in the dance music community for the quality and consistency of its work. Adopting various guises to showcase different aspects of their sound, Inland Knights have been responsible for most of the Drop catalogue. As enthusiastic about DJ'ing as studio production Ritchie and Riley have maintained a relentless international touring agenda since their collaboration began.
Under the Inland Knights moniker the pair have been fruitful, releasing tracks on labels such as Ralph Lawson's famed 20:20 Vision imprint, Panhandle Records, Vista, Siesta, Sunflower, NRK, Low Pressings, the classic 'hot soup' on so-sound, cheeky, doubledown and many more.
Into 2008, Inland knights are busy in the studio with remixes, ep's and compilations, as well as regular DJ slots at the weekends. To mark the 50th Dropmusic release, Inland Knights released a two part ep package to widespread acclaim, with 50 pt 1 becoming an instant rarity and much sought after, and part 2 being a Drop classic. Into 2008 and DROP MUSIC will be 10 years old so to celebrate this there will be a double cd compilation with all the artists off the label putting forward new tracks.
Excited?
Back to the night in hand and alongside the main room, we will be warping your brains with some of the tastiest, twisted electro sounds of London, hand selected by the very best!
To tweak this piece of genius, jakinthehouse resident, Eddie Cheever has recruited London legend Scuttler to help by adding that cheeky party twist. With the best in broken beats, party hip hop and funk for those who just cant help but get down! BETTER THAN SEX. 'Really?' I hear you ask, See if we're lying.
